Press Release Number: 05/sipers/snpmb/III/2024 concerning the announcement of the results of the 2024 National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) which was carried out by the National Selection Committee for New Student Admissions (SNPMB) of the Educational Testing Management Center (BP3) on March 26 2024.
Based on the results of the 2024 SNBP Track Results Selection and Allocation Meeting on March 22-24 2024, the results of the 2024 National Achievement Based Selection (SNBP) were announced on Tuesday, March 26 2024, starting at 15.00 WIB. The announcement is made via the page https://pengumuman-snbp-snpmb.bppp.kemdikbud.go.id, by entering the 2024 SNBP Registration Number and Participant's Date of Birth according to the registered personal data
on the SNPMB system.
A total of 145 PTNs, consisting of 76 State Universities (PTN) and 25 State Islamic Religious Universities (PTKIN) as Academic PTNs and 44 State Polytechnics as Vocational PTNs, including the Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) are taking part in the 2024 SNBP which is managed by the Committee National Selection for New Student Admissions (SNPMB Committee). The total SNBP participants in 2024 are 702,312 high school students, consisting of:
- 449,340 high school (SMA) students,
- 162,156 vocational high school (SMK) students,
- 89,979 madrasah aliyah (MA) students,
- 635 high school cooperative education unit (SPK) students, and
- 202 other school students.
The number of applicants who chose study programs at PTN Academic was 659,217 participants, competing for 132,450 capacity seats. The number of participants who were declared to have passed the 2024 SNBP Pathway Selection based on the results of the selection carried out by each PTN Academic Chancellor was 126,421 participants—which consisted of 113,697 participants passing in Option 1 and 12,724 participants in Option 2—with a strictness of 19,18%. Of the total number of participants who were declared to have passed, 39,056 (30,89%) were participants with KIP Kuliah (potential recipients of higher education tuition assistance from the Government).
Meanwhile, the number of applicants who chose study programs at Vocational State Universities was 112,599 participants, competing for 33,608 seats. The number of participants who were declared to have passed the 2024 SNBP Pathway Selection based on the results of the selection carried out by each Director of Vocational State Universities was 29,608 participants—which consisted of 24,680 participants passing in Option 1 and 4,928 participants in Option 2—with a strictness of 26,30%. Of the number of participants who were declared to have passed, 10,315 (34,84%) were participants with KIP Kuliah (potential recipients of higher education tuition assistance from the Government).
The General Chairperson of the Team Responsible for the 2024 SNPMB, Ganefri, expressed his congratulations to the 2024 SNBP participants who were declared to have passed the SNBP Pathway selection. He advised that participants who were declared to have passed the 2024 SNBP Pathway Selection could not register for the 2024, 2025 and 2026 Computer-Based National Selection Test-Based Written Examination (UTBK-SNBT) as well as the 2024 Independent Selection at any PTN. Therefore, participants who pass must immediately verify their academic data and re-register according to the schedule set by their target PTN.
When verifying academic data and re-registration, SNBP participants are required to fulfill the provisions, namely showing original report cards, original achievement documents, original diplomas/Graduation Certificates (SKL), and fulfilling other requirements set by the target PTN. For participants who pass the 2024 SNBP Pathway Selection who apply for the Indonesia Smart College Card (KIP Kuliah), apart from verifying academic data, economic data verification will also be carried out based on documents and/or visits to the participant's residence address.
The General Chairperson of the 2024 SNPMB Responsible Team also advised participants who have not passed the SNBP not to be discouraged because they still have the opportunity to take the Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) in the 2024 National Selection Based on Test (SNBT). UTBK-SNBT Registration in 2024 open until April 5 2024. In 2024, Polines will open a new student admission capacity of 2828 students, where the capacity opened specifically for the SNBP route is 25 % or 708.
For the 708 applicants who have been declared to have passed the 2024 SNBP route at Polines, they are expected to immediately carry out the next process, namely re-registering new students using the procedures specified in the Polines Director's announcement Number: 1517/PL4.6.1/DT.00.00/2024 concerning Re-Registration Procedures Acceptance of Prospective New Students for the National Selection Path Based on Achievement (SNBP) 2024 Semarang State Polytechnic.
