Director of Polines, prof. Dr. Totok Praasetyo said in the cooperation that was established, he emphasized that both parties had the same level.
“It means that we both give each other what we have. With full awareness that I (should) help," he said.
According to Prof. Full-blooded if one party only asks continuously, this is not cooperation but coaching.
Furthermore, he said that in the signed MoU, the cooperation was related to education, research, and other development activities. These matters will be discussed in more detail in a new agreement at a later date.
In addition, Prof. Totok said that business-to-business (B2B) talks with companies were one of the most important topics. This is considering the Polines which is now BLU status.
"If B2B is talking about cuan to cuan, so no one is harmed, everyone is profitable," he said.
However, he also said that Polines as a higher education institution does not only see advantages in terms of material. According to him, increasing knowledge for both students and lecturers and education staff is also an advantage.
"So don't see that profits have to be money, but the addition of physical and non-physical assets must also increase," he added.
According to Prof. Totok, there are almost 7,000 human resources in Polines, including students, lecturers and education staff. Therefore, his party invites to develop these resources together.
"Whatever we can provide or we can collaborate with PT Rohde and Schwarz, everything is for the sake of achieving a win-win cooperation," he said.
On the other hand, Managing Director of PT Rohde and Schwarz Indonesia, Muhammad Arif admitted that he was impressed with the Semarang State Polytechnic,
“I am very impressed (impressed), here there are facilities to support education. The term is not only for knowledge (knowledge), but also skill (ability) because here is a vocation," he said.
Welcoming what was conveyed by Prof. Totok, Arif admitted that he agreed that the cooperation was not temporary, but could also be sustainable.
According to him, PT Rohde and Schwarz is one of the leading companies that have collaborated with universities around the world, one of which is in Germany. Furthermore, Arif said that his party is also preparing for the development of a 6G network.
"We also have a lot of technology that we can contribute to development in this country as we move forward," he said.
Furthermore, Arif said, it is possible that if there is an opportunity in the development of 6G in Indonesia, his party will cooperate with its partners. Moreover, the MoU has also been established.
Regarding business to business talks, he hopes that in the future this mutually beneficial concept will actually be realized. In addition, Arif also said that his party also has CSR funds that can be used in the development of education.
“(If there are ideas) Please coordinate with us. For example, there are opportunities like that, don't hesitate to talk about it, because that is the spirit of the MoU that we signed today," he concluded.
