Kodim Semarang Gembelng 1913 Polines Students

A total of 1913 students and students of the Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) have been trained in discipline by soldiers of the TNI AD Kodim 0733 Semarang City for 3 days in 3 waves in the Meteseh Combat Drill Training Field of Kodam IV Diponegoro Semarang.

The activity which has been held since the first week of August on every finger from Friday to Sunday is closed on Sunday (21/8/2022) by the Commander of Kodim 0733 Semarang City, Lt. Col. Inf. Honi Havana MMDS. Previously, in the third or last batch, it was opened by the Mayor of Semarang, Dr H Hendrar Prihadi SE MM.

“This Basic Discipline Training needs to be given to everyone, including students to form a person who has responsibility and discipline. Whether it's responsibility for yourself, the nation or the state. We really appreciate Polines which is still consistently producing students who have high discipline, “said Honi.

The disciplinary training is expected by the Dandim to have an influence on students after graduating and entering the workforce.

According to Major Inf Suryanta as the Training Commander, the material provided, in addition to marching in the field, was also material for national insight, inculcating Pancasila values, counseling on the dangers of drugs and inculcating awareness of obeying and obeying the law.

Muhammad Haidar Al Fathin, a participant from the Informatics Engineering department, admitted that he was happy to receive the training. Even though they are taught hard and decisively because almost everything requires speed, accuracy in thinking in acting, but it is very uplifting.

“Tired but in the end it worked. Wake up early in the morning to join the apple. Eating must be together and bathing must be queued. It turns out that this teaches us discipline and builds togetherness. After the education is over, it feels like I'm losing the atmosphere," said Haidar.

What is impressive, according to him, is that all actions are a shared responsibility. There was even one participant who was caught violating the smoking ban, eventually the company had to pay the penalty. Everyone was punished somersaults and crawls at night when everyone was asleep.

"From this experience, we all understand the need to look out for each other and remind one of us not to make a mistake and have an impact on all," said Haidar.

According to him, Basic Discipline Training should be responded to and accepted with pleasure. Although sometimes there are those who consider it stressful because everything has to be regulated, but it all benefits to get used to a disciplined life.

Haidar assessed that what he received was not hazing. Because it is done by experienced military trainers. At first glance, when he trains, he looks firm and hard, but on the outside he is humane and friendly.

He was impressed with the way in which Major Inf Suryanta's material was delivered. When the participants were sleepy, their voice boomed loudly, often startling. But the material is full of humor and makes the participants laugh until the sleepiness is gone. (Cha)
