On 27-28 October 2021 a Limited Student Coordination Meeting was held initiated by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, which was located in Jakarta (Directorate of Education, Research, and Technology Building). The Limited Student Coordination Meeting aims to immediately follow up the Permendikbudristek which has been approved by Minister Nadiem Makarim to be disseminated to his home campus.
The Permendikbudristek discussed and socialized at the Directorate of Education, Research, and Technology Building discussed the background for the launch of Permendikbudristek No. 30 of 2021, what is regulated in the Ministerial Regulation on the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (PPKS), criteria for becoming a PPKS committee, the authority and function of the task force. PPKS, and how is the selection process for the formation of the PPKS Selection Committee and PPKS Task Force.
With the Student Limited Coordination Meeting attended by all State Polytechnics throughout Indonesia, the Politeknik Negeri Semarang Student Executive Board held a socialization and education about Permendikbudristek 2021 which was obtained during the Student Limited Coordination Meeting in Jakarta entitled "Socialization for the Establishment of the PPKS Committee"
The Socialization Activity for the Establishment of the PPKS Committee is a work program carried out by the Semarang State Polytechnic Student Executive Board (BEM). The activity was carried out on Sunday, February 13, 2022. This activity was carried out because it followed up on the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 30 of 2021. The socialization of the formation of the PPKS Committee was aimed at disseminating and educating all Semarang State Polytechnic students about prevention sexual violence in universities, especially at the Semarang State Polytechnic.
This socialization activity was attended by internal students of the Semarang State Polytechnic. The socialization activity for the formation of the PPKS Committee was carried out online through the Instagram feature from 18.30-20.00 WIB. This activity began with the opening of the event which was opened by a moderator from the Deputy of Socio-Political BEM KBM Polines, Jessica Gira Rohito, after that it was continued to carry out QnA with Kinanti Warkas and Istighfarina Rahmayani from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, BEM KBM Polines, who previously served as representatives of Polines to attend the socialization at Kemendikbudristek RI.
In the QnA that took place, Kinanti Warkas and Istighfarina Rahmayani explained about the background for the launch of Permendikbudristek No. 30 of 2021, what was stipulated in the PPKS Ministerial Regulation, the criteria for becoming a PPKS committee, the authority and function of the PPKS task force, and how the selection process was to form the PPKS Selection Committee and PPKS Task Force. . QnA lasted for 90 minutes and there was a two-way conversation between the Resource Person and the Audience
