Leadership Training and Inauguration of New Members (LKPAB) is one of the work programs of the Semarang State Polytechnic Knowledge Development UKM. This activity aims to train new members to have a leadership spirit and induct prospective members to become official members of the Knowledge Development UKM.
The LKPAB activity was carried out for two days, namely on January 15-16, 2022 at the TNI AD Shooting Field, Tembalang, Semarang. A total of 141 participants who were Semarang State Polytechnic students from various majors participated in this activity and a total of 141 participants were appointed to be members of the Knowledge Development UKM.
On January 15, 2022, LKPAB activities began with an opening ceremony which was then continued with the delivery of materials including: Student Governance, leadership, Organizational Fundamentals, Session Management, and Critical Thinking.
After the material delivery session is complete, it is continued with discussions and presentations from each group (Focus Group Discussion) regarding problems and solutions to the daily management and departments that have been determined by the committee. The event continued with a trial simulation. Then after the trial simulation was completed, the caraka continued at night. This method aims to be able to mentally train prospective new members.
On January 16, 2022 held games in the morning which aims to increase the cohesiveness and togetherness of prospective new members. This activity was closed with the inauguration of new members which indicated that the prospective new members had been recognized as members of the Knowledge Development UKM.
