Robotics Studies Arduino is one of the work programs of the Semarang State Polytechnic Knowledge Development UKM. This activity consists of several series of events including socialization from the Polirevo team, delivery of material on robotics technology, robot simulation by the research team and robot team and training in assembling robots. Arduino which is carried out offline in the Semarang State Polytechnic Auditorium as well as on line via app Zoom Meeting.
This activity can be followed by all active polines students, but it is highly prioritized for new students in 2021 and also prospective active members of the Knowledge Development UKM. Main Objectives of Robotics Studies Arduino is so that participants can gain knowledge about robotics technology while also being used to branding Knowledge Development UKM and Polines Robot Team to new Polines students in 2021. Participants who registered in this activity were 117 students, mostly from level 1 students. Registration for this activity is done through an online registration form in the form of google forms published by the committee through the Knowledge Development UKM social media account, their respective social media accounts and several social media partner accounts.
Robotics Studies Arduino held on October 30, 2021. During the Robotics Study Arduino, the participants were given material presentation about robotics technology. Participants are also given the opportunity to ask the speaker, this question and answer session is through the column chat and audio Zoom Meeting. The material presentation and question and answer session was led by a moderator.
After the presentation of the material, the next activity was a robot demonstration from the Polirevo team and the research team. Then, there is training in making robotics programs through Arduino by speakers and tutors who are already proficient in the field. After the training session ended, there was a session challenge to test participants' understanding after attending the training Arduino and from the committee has prepared door prize for the first, second and third participants who have successfully completed challenge which is given. Winners 1,2 and 3 were announced on the same day.
Knowledge development SMEs cannot carry out Robotics Study events Arduino by offline due to the current state of affairs. For this reason, the implementation of these activities is carried out regularly on line without reducing the essence and purpose of the activity.
