EMOCLEW 2021 has been held on Sunday, October 03, 2021 at 08.47 – 11.35 WIB in the Auditorium Room. This event was attended by 169 new students consisting of new students from the Semarang State Polytechnic for the 2021/2022 academic year or the 2021 class, 25 offline committees, and 21 online committees. The membership in this event was attended by PP UKM alumni joining through online zoom meetings and 1 sharing session speaker who came offline on behalf of Mas Imadudien Ariefa along with 25 offline committees and 3 online committees.
This emoclew event started at 08.47 WIB and ended at 11.35 WIB. The zoom participants were very enthusiastic and enthusiastic in participating in a series of emoclew events from the beginning to the end of the event. This is evidenced by the activeness of new students to ask the speakers at the departmental presentation session, daily management and research and development. Likewise in the sharing session which was filled by PP UKM Alumni, namely Mas Imadudien Ariefa. In this sharing session, what was discussed was about organization, experiences while participating in organizations, how to become outstanding students, tips and tricks for success in academic lectures and organizations.
Emoclew is one of the agendas in the Knowledge Development Student Activity Unit, especially the agenda of the Department of Public Relations (Humas). The origin of the word emoclew comes from the word WELCOME which is reversed from the end of the word to the beginning of the word. Like the meaning of EMOCLEW which is translated into English, namely Welcome. Emoclew is an agenda from the Department of Public Relations which aims to welcome and introduce the Knowledge Development Student Activity Unit to new students at the Semarang State Polytechnic, which can be implemented by organizing an event that contains a deeper introduction to PP UKM, such as department sharing, alumni sharing and work sharing – works or achievements that have been obtained by PP UKM members. It is hoped that after participating in a series of EMOCLEW 2021 events, Semarang State Polytechnic New Students will be able to know more about everything about PP UKM and then be able to join and process together at PP UKM. In addition, with the retirement of the 27 PP UKM PP, we hope that the previous PP UKM STOs will be able to continue the management relay that is more innovative, creative, communicative and competitive.
