Sipondra or Civil Polines Duta Champion is an organization in the field of civil engineering under the auspices of the Semarang State Polytechnic Civil Engineering Student Association. Sipondra was formed with a background to improve and advance the world of competition for Civil Engineering students at the Semarang State Polytechnic. The purpose of the Sipondra organization is to assist the bureaucracy and administrative affairs of the contestants as well as to guide them from an academic point of view, to be able to open their eyes to Polines civil engineering students and introduce them to the world of competition, and to develop all members in terms of organization.
Sipondra has several work programs, one of which is the Work Program. Training 1. Training 1 is a routine event held every year by Sipondra. Training 1 was held with the aim of helping all Civil Engineering students at the Semarang State Polytechnic to operate some software that is often used in the civil engineering field.
The 1 Sipondra 2020/2021 training was held on Saturday and Sunday, 23-24 January 20201 with the theme "Practice Your Skills and Knowledge with Sipondra". This 1st training consisted of 4 trainings, namely Tender Training, Drawings, LKTI, and Structures. This 1st training was filled by 8 tutors. The first is Maulita Widianingtias and Adib Samudera as tutors for tender application training. Nur Farikhan and Raehan Arif Wildan as tutors for the drawing training. Aris Ariyanto and Ida Nurhani as tutors for the LKTI training. And lastly, there are Atha Arkandia and Fajar Choirunnisa as tutors for structure training. This 1-time training uses 3 applications, namely SketchUp, AutoCad, and SAP2000.
The existence of the covid-19 pandemic did not prevent Sipondra 2020/2021 from holding Training 1, therefore due to unfavorable circumstances, Sipondra decided to conduct Training 1 virtually (on line). The 1 Sipondra 2020/2021 training was held virtually (on line) through zoom meeting. The target of the participants of this event are all Polines Civil Engineering students. There are 129 participants who registered via google forms.For details who registered there were 46 Tender participants, 37 Structure participants, 32 LKTI participants, and 14 Drawing participants. In Training 1, participants were provided with a handbook facility, a link to download the software being taught, and a tutorial to download the software application.
A series of inaugural meeting activities include: Opening by the Chair/Vice Chairperson of Sipondra, explanation of the training, sharing of handbooks and first/second video assignments by the tutor, questions and answers from participants, and closing with documentation from the event.
