This comparative study is part of the agenda of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, BEM KBM POLINES. The Comparative Study aims to establish organizational relationships, add insight, and experience with community groups outside POLINES. The comparative study was held on Sunday, November 22, 2020 through the digital media platform Zoom Meeting. This activity was attended by 167 participants consisting of BEM functionaries and delegates from BPM, HMJ and UKM Semarang State Polytechnic for the 2020/2021 period and Malang State Polytechnic Ormawa.
The comparative study activity started at 09.30 WIB with the opening by the MC and began with a speech from the Student President of BEM KM POLINEMA and continued with remarks by the President of the Student Council of BEM KM POLINES. Then the event continued with the division of participants per field through the breakout zoom feature to take part in the FGD session (Focus Group discussions). In the breakout zoom feature, there is an explanation of the work program and agenda of each field, followed by a question and answer session. After the FGD session (Focus Group Discussion) finished, participants were directed back to the main room to carry out the closing of the event as well as handing over memories from BEM POLINEMA and BEM POLINES. This comparative study event went well and smoothly, the participants were very enthusiastic about participating in the activities from the beginning to the end of the event. Hopefully this event can add knowledge and insight as well as relationships in carrying out organizational activities.
