Polines Raise Donation Funds to Help Communities Affected by the Covid-19 Outbreak

The Covid-19 pandemic that is happening in our country is the main focus at this time. The new corona virus or novel coronavirus (nCoV) is a type of new corona virus that causes a disease called Covid-19.

In this difficult time, remember each of us has an important role. Together we can protect ourselves and protect others and be safe from this Covid-19 outbreak. We can overcome the epidemic faster with the right action. Seeing the situation due to Covid 19, many have been exposed and some have even died, the government's appeal for everyone to carry out activities at home. This is solely done to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19. However, activities that become their main livelihood are not always carried out at home, some people require to keep working in the midst of this pandemic that hit the motherland. 

Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) as a higher education institution feels compelled to participate in prevention and help relieve the people affected by the Covid 19 outbreak. For this reason, a social fund management team "Polines Peduli" has been formed which works under the direct coordination of the Polines leadership. For this reason, a special account has been opened to receive donations from the academic community and the general public to help affected communities.

Donation funds collected will be allocated to help students who do not return home in the form of food assistance. In addition, assistance will also be distributed in the form of basic necessities to communities around the campus affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. Other assistance will also be provided in the form of PPE for medical personnel. Aid funds will be managed in a transparent and accountable manner and will be reported periodically on the website: www.polines.ac.id and other relevant media.

Previously, "Polines Peduli" had provided assistance in the form of food to the Food Barn, Tembalang Village, Semarang City. Also provided PPE assistance to KRMT Wongsonegoro Hospital, Semarang City.
