Another proud achievement was achieved by Semarang State Polytechnic students (Polines). Anjas Dwi Prasetyo, a student of the Mechanical Engineering Department of Polines has won 1st place in the selection Asean Skill Competition (ASC) XIII Year 2019 at the Central Java level in the field of Mechanical Engineering CAD. This selection event was organized by the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of Central Java Province which took place in the Hall of SMK Negeri 7 Semarang on 18-20 June 2019. Participants came from representatives of districts / cities throughout Central Java.
Dr.Ir. Suharto, M.Pd. as the assistant lecturer admitted that he was proud of the achievements of this student. “Those who have the competence and are able to win the ASC competition in the M . fieldmechanical engineering This provincial level CAD,''he said. According to him, from an early age, students need to be encouraged to have a competitive, solutive, and independent spirit. Have the ability to design with software inventor field mechanical engineering able to increase productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness in the design and manufacturing processes in this global era.
Asean Skill Competition (ASC) or Worldskills ASEAN is a skills competition between ASEAN countries which is held every 2 (two) years in even years. ASC XIII will take place in Singapore on 25 -30 July 2020. The stage to go to Singapore requires a regional selection process (selection), national selection (seleknas) and training concentration.
