Located at the Auditorium, Polines, School Building One, Polines Campus, Tembalang, Sunday, (23/3), UKM Polytechnic English Conversation Club (PECC) held Scholarship Workshop 2019. The event is a seminar that describes scholarships with the theme “A Great Bridge Leads to Your Success”.
This is the first time for UKM PECC to hold the event, which takes place from 07.45 WIB to 11.40 WIB.
The event began with a report from the chief executive, Wahyu Nurul Ikhsan. Further remarks from leader PECC Ridwan Wicaksono. And the event was officially opened by Adhy Purnomo, ST, MT, Deputy Director of Student Affairs.
The first speaker, Fajar Sidik AK Fajar, is an LPDP Scholarship Awardee at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology Sweden and a graduate of Mechanical Engineering UGM. He explained how to apply for the LPDP scholarship, the stages he went through to get the scholarship. Here He also said that "We all can do it, it's just that we are too afraid and make the shells of fear in our minds and that's what makes us hesitate to move".
Then the second speaker was filled by Atif Windawati, S.ST, MBA who is a lecturer in the Accounting Department of the Semarang State Polytechnic who continued his studies in Taiwan, facilitated by a Kemenristekdikti scholarship. In his material he explained what the Kemenristekdikti scholarship was, the address for access, and the stages of selection.
