Activity Entrepreneur Seminar and Expo by theme “Get Ready to be a Young Entrepreneur” implemented recently. This event was held by 4th grade students of Applied Business Administration Study Program or 4ABT B Semarang State Polytechnic. The speaker in this seminar is Endang Dzulkarnaen who is the Head of the Intermediate Business Compartment of HIPMI PT. Central Java, Owner Engineers AsgardCloth Saputra Konveksi and Nico Pracahya are Young Public Speaker Trainers, Leadaer of Trainer Associate of TPC Corporation, and Founder of #LeaderSIP.
The seminar was attended by Deputy Director III of the Semarang State Polytechnic and several lecturers majoring in Business Administration. The participants of this event were 81 participants from the Business Administration Department of Semarang State Polytechnic, 2 participants from the Accounting Department of Semarang State Polytechnic, 6 participants from Diponegoro University, 1 participant from Stikubank University Semarang, 1 participant from Semarang State University and 1 participant from Dian Nuswantoro University, Semarang. In this event there are 2 events, namely Seminar and Exhibition.
The event began with the attendance of all seminar participants and invited guests, along with the distribution of 20 questionnaires at random to assess and evaluate the course of the seminar. It was followed by remarks from the chief executive, namely Ayu Wulan Sari, student 4 ABT-B then remarks from the Head of the Applied Business Administration Study Program, Mrs. Dra. Taviyastuti, MM who replaced Mr. Dr. Dody Setyadi, Head of the Business Administration Department, was unable to attend this event and the last one was a speech from the Deputy Director III of the Semarang State Polytechnic, namely Mr. Adhy Purnomo, ST, MT. After that, it was continued with the introduction of the moderator, namely Rismawati who would guide the seminar. After the two speakers finished delivering the material and asking questions, the committee distributed many door prizes to all the lucky seminar participants. The majority of door prizes come from products sold by 4th grade students of the Applied Business Administration Study Program, Department of Business Administration, Semarang State Polytechnic. The event ended at 12:10 and was closed by the presenter. Questionnaires that have been distributed at the beginning of the event are collected again after the event is over during the afternoon attendance.
Meanwhile, in the exhibition or bazaar, this activity was carried out in the Tata Commerce canteen and the Semarang State Polytechnic Badminton Court. Stand the bazaar is 10 stand and equipped with a product exhibition stand for class 4 students of the Applied Business Administration Study Program, Semarang State Polytechnic Department of Business Administration. The products on display were varied, ranging from clothes, snacks, batik tools, and many others. The bazaar stand can start preparing all its needs from the morning, so that when the seminar starts the bazaar stand is ready. The booths were opened around 9 o'clock and finished together with the completion of the seminar and traders continued to clean up their respective bazaar stands. The distribution of 20 questionnaires at the bazaar was carried out randomly to all visitors.
