Polines Accepts Student Intern Exchange From Thailand

Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) accepts internship student exchange from Thailand. Director of Polines, Ir. Supriyadi, MT, accompanied by Dr. Dody Setyadi (Head of the Department of Business Administration), Dr. Muhamad Mukhlisin (Head of the International Affairs Unit) and Dra. Taviyastuti, MM (Head of Applied Business Administration-ABT) received 2 (two) students from Thai Business Administration and Technological College Thailand, in the Director's Room, Polines, Tembalang Campus, Semarang, (10/9).

Ms. Irene Dela China as a supervising lecturer from Thai Business Administration and Technological College Thailang officially handed over 2 (two) exchange student internships, namely Jirayut Suknaorat and Thitipong Singtotong for an internship for 1 (one) month at Polines, especially the ABT study program. In his remarks, it is hoped that this internship student can improve competence in the internship place. "And get to know and learn local cultural customs," he said.

The Director of Polines, Ir Supriyadi, MT welcomed this internship student exchange program. It is hoped that this student internship exchange can improve student competence and readiness in facing global competition and the MEA. "This student exchange can add insight as well as strengthen cooperation between universities, students and with each country," he said. Previously, 2 (two) Polines students from the ABT study program, namely Diani Zahra and Putri Sekarudya, had done an internship program at Thai Business Administration and Technological College Thailand for 1 (one) month.

This program is the realization of a cooperation agreement between universities and polytechnics in ASEAN under the auspices of SEAMEO (South East Asian Ministers of Education Organization). The collaboration with the theme of SEA-TVET Student Internship Exchange is in the form of student internship exchanges.
