Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) held an Open Senate Meeting with the agenda of the 36th Anniversary ceremony which took place in the Multipurpose Room (RSG), Polines Campus, Tembalang, Monday (6/8).
This year's anniversary event, which took the theme "Semarang State Polytechnic as a Pioneer of Vocational Education Ready to Contribute to the Era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in Indonesia", was attended by the Governor of Central Java, TNI/Polri leaders, regional government leaders, university leaders, industry partner envoys, lecturers, student education staff and other invited guests.
Director of Polines, Ir. Supriyadi, MT in his speech said that the background of the theme raised this year was considering external issues that were developing into Polines' strategy in facing future challenges to respond, adapt and anticipate developments in science and technology as well as changes in mindsets and values.
Polines' big goal is to become an integrated Center for Technology and Business Innovation. "Those who have a real contribution to make the intellectual life of the nation," said Supriyadi. At the end of his speech, Supriyadi said that in the future, Polines' contribution will be more tangible in realizing Polines' vision, to become a vocational college that is recognized nationally and internationally. "Being able to compete, be accountable, have character and be ethical in the application of science, technology and business," he said. We believe that the involvement of all elements and the moral support of all parties will encourage Polines in carrying out its mandate and contribution in educating the nation's life and advancing the welfare of the community.
