Tuesday, November 14 2017, the Polines delegation visited the Management and Science University (MSU) campus in Shah Alam, Malaysia. The Polines delegation was led by Mr. Kunto Purbono, Deputy Director for Planning and Cooperation.
Also joining the team, Mr. Akhmad Jamaah, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs; Mr. Moh Noor Ardiansah as Deputy Director for Administration and Finance; Mr. Rustono, Deputy Director for Student Affairs; Mrs. Lusia M. Silitonga as Head of International Affairs Office; and Ms. Pasa Nurriani Monti as staff of the Office of International Affairs at Polines.
During a visit to the MSU campus, the Polines delegation was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Eddy Yusuf, Dean of Postgraduate, and Dr. Adam Jaharadak, Dean of Information Science and Engineering. The two then led the delegation to tour the campus (campus tour). After the tour, the Polines delegation then met with Prof. Tan Sri Datowira Dr. Mohd. Sukri Ab Yajid, as President of MSU in his office. The signing of the MoA between Polines, represented by Pak Kunto Purbono, and MSU, represented by Prof. Dr. Eddy Yusuf was held after a meeting with the President of MSU. The signing of the MoA was witnessed by Prof. Tan Sri Datowira Dr. Mohd. Sukri Ab Yajid; MSU Vice President, Dato Rosli Yusuf; Dr. Siti Khalidah; Dr. Adam Jaharadak and other Polines delegates. The purpose of this MoA is to strengthen the partnership between the two institutions, more specifically for academic transfer programs
The Poline team then met representatives from the Department of Engineering and the Department of Business to discuss further collaboration regarding the credit transfer program and fast track (top-up). Discussions include curriculum matching, transfer implementation time and credit recognition.
Prior to this visit, Polines and MSU had signed an MoU in early August. The results of the MoU provide an opportunity for four Polins graduates from the Electrical Engineering Department to get a master's scholarship at MSU next year.
