as Director of the Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) for the 2017-2021 term. The inauguration ceremony was held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the Auditorium of Building D, 2nd floor, Kemenristekdikti, Jakarta.
On that occasion, Mohamad Nasir advised the inaugurated directors to work hard to improve the quality of lecturers and students. Lecturers are encouraged to increase scientific publications. And for students to be facilitated through collaboration with the industrial world.
"So that the campus or Polytechnic can progress quickly, don't make complicated rules. Just make it dynamic," he ordered. Nasir said that in 2017, Indonesian publications in Indonesia scopus drastically improved over Thailand. Indonesia has reached 12 thousand, while Thailand is only 10 thousand. Whereas in 2015, Nasir said, only 4500 works were indexed scopus far behind Thailand, which has 9500 publications. "That means, our hard work to improve our publications is not in vain," he explained.
Ir. Supriyadi, MT, who was elected as Director of Polines for a second term, after the inauguration said, facing challenges and dynamics of change, Polines must have advantages and be more focused. The development concept, said Supriyadi, makes Polines a Center for Technology and Business Innovation that integrates internal potential with demands and needs. stakeholders both national and international scale. "The implementation strategy is to synergize potential and respect diversity and differences within the limits of tolerance standards," he concluded.
