The Advisory Council is an organ of the Polines that carries out the function of providing non-academic considerations to the Director and helping to advance the Polines. The non-academic considerations include the fields of organization, finance, student affairs, manpower, infrastructure, cooperation, and public relations.
In carrying out its functions, the Advisory Council has the following duties and authorities:
- conduct a study on the Director's policies in the non-academic field;
- formulate suggestions and opinions on the Director's policies in the non-academic field;
- give consideration to the Director's policies in the non-academic field;
- give consideration to the Director in managing Polines; and
- assist Polines in the fields of funding, facilities and infrastructure, and personnel.
Members of the Advisory Council consist of:
- Governor of Central Java;
- Pangdam IV Diponegoro;
- Central Java Police Chief;
- Mayor of Semarang;
- Head of Bank Indonesia Central Java Branch;
- Chairman of the Central Java Chamber of Commerce;
- 2 (two) leaders of professional associations in the field of technology and business;
- 2 (two) leaders from the industry;
- 1 (one) alumni from each department;
- 1 (one) public figure;
- 2 (two) education experts; and
- 2 (two) retired Polines.
