Succeeded in making unique batik innovations by combining the typical patterns of motifs from 4 regions with H vehicle plates, the areas are Semarang, Demak, Kendal, and Salatiga. This batik motif work is named "Batik Plat H".
Yunita (Team Leader) said that this idea originated from her concern for our culture which was almost recognized by other countries. "The reason is the weak legal protection of cultural wealth, the lack of public awareness to love and preserve the original culture of Indonesia," said Yunita.
From this, this team seeks to elevate batik to become an important part in the fashion world, namely creating batik creations in the form of more sophisticated product designs. up to date , while still paying attention to the meaning of the batik. The design pattern is made unique by combining different patterns. Plus color gradations and the incorporation of beautiful motif patterns. BATIK PLAT H can increase the selling value of the product, as well as maintain its function as unique, fashionable, visually informative clothing needs, and participate in maintaining the original Indonesian culture.
One of the batik fabrics in the form of batik, combines motifs from Semarang (asem flower motif, tamarind leaf, blekok srondol bird, lawang sewu), Kendal (suweg flower motif), Demak (watermelon mooring motif), and Salatiga (plumpungan stone motif).
"We hope that this Batik Plat H can be owned originally as a souvenir that should not be missed when visiting the area with plate H, namely Semarang and its surroundings.
He revealed, the products can be in the form of batik cloth, clothing, accessories, and designs. “The advantages of Batik Plat H include handmade; made of quality materials; can request motifs, colors, designs, letters, numbers, etc. which are included in the product.” he concluded.
