The study program (Prodi) International Business Management (MBI) Undergraduate Applied Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) has won accreditation A from the National Accreditation Board
Higher Education (BAN-PT). This decision is stated in the SK BAN-PT Number 1083/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/Dipl-IV/IV/2017 valid until April 18, 2022 as published on the BAN-PT website.
Director of Polines, Ir. Supriyadi, MT expressed his gratitude for obtaining an A accreditation in this MBI study program. "This achievement increases the number of A-accredited study programs at Polines to 7," he said at the Polines campus, Tembalang, Monday (9/6). The success of the MBI Study Program in obtaining an A accreditation is in line with the Vision and Mission of Polines which has received institutional A accreditation from BAN PT in 2016.
He hopes that this title can motivate the performance of Polines in general and the MBI study program in particular for the next five years. "This accreditation is also the first step to strengthen and improve performance in the next five years," he explained. “This is a form of recognition and accountability to the community as well as the quality of management in the study program. Furthermore, he advised, MBI study program managers must be committed to continuously improve performance in accordance with the dynamics of needs stakeholders . Not only the competitiveness of graduates but also the role of universities in society. All elements must be committed to improving the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely education, research, and community service. He hopes, "A grades must be accompanied by quality activities that strengthen the performance of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in study programs.", he hoped.
Head of MBI Study Program Yusmar Ardhi Hidayat SE, M.Si said his party had previously applied for reaccreditation. Furthermore, the Assessor Team from BAN PT consisting of Dr. Moh. Rizan and Farid Najib SE, M.Sc. conducted a field visit on March 16-18, 2017 at the Polines campus. "Armed with the results of the A accreditation from BAN-PT, the MBI Study Program is determined to maintain and realize the vision of becoming a center for higher vocational education in the field of international business management that excels and has international quality standards," he said. This vision is the basis for the MBI Study Program to improve the quality of vocational education in the field of international business to produce professional graduates entering the world of work.
Yusmar continued, this study program took seven years to get accreditation since this study program was opened in 2010 then accepted students in 2011 and has produced two batches of graduates in 2015 and 2016. short waiting period averaging 4 months.
