Polines Signs MoU With Central College Nottingham And Loughborough College, UK

Semarang State Polytechnic (POLINES) collaborates with Central College Nottingham and Loughborough College, England. This collaboration begins with

International Skills Partnership (ISP), a program funded by the British Council. The program then led the three institutions to sign a memorandum of understanding. The MoU between Poline and Central College Nothingham was represented by Dra. Lusia M. Silitonga, M.Pd (Head of International Office, Polines) and Shaff Hussain ( Head of International and Projects , Central College Nottingham) on the main campus of Central College Nottingham (16/05). Meanwhile, the MoU between Polines and Loughborough College was represented by Drs. Budi Prasetya, M.Si (Chairman of the Department of Business Administration, Polines) and Gemma Knott (Director of Business Development, Loughborough College) in Loughborough (18/05).

Currently, Polines, Loughborough College and Central College Nottingham are part of the International Skills Partnership programme. This program aims to improve the employability of students from the three institutions. Therefore, the Polines delegation also taught the process of batik through the Batik Painting Workshop to students at Central College Nottingham. They also follow the program shadow on teaching methods at Loughborough College during a visit by a Polines delegation 12 – 20 May 2017 in Nottingham and Loughborough, England. The program will be followed by a visit by representatives of Cental College Nottingham and Loughborough College to Polines in July 2017.
