VISION
In strengthening its existence as an applied tertiary institution, the Semarang State Polytechnic has set a vision:
“Polines Becomes an Applied University Recognized Nationally and Internationally, Able to Compete, Accountable, Have Character, and Be Ethical in the Field of Technology and Business”
MISSION
In an effort to realize this vision, Polines' missions are:
- Carry out vocational higher education in the field of applied technology and business that is superior, with character and ethics;
- Carry out and develop applied research and community service in the fields of technology and business;
- Improving the quality of institutional management, through continuous improvement based on the principles of good governance;
- Produce professional, character and ethical human resources; and
- Develop cooperation with stakeholders (stakeholders).
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
The spirit of realizing the vision and mission requires clarity of direction development, capacity building and strengthening of programs and activities. This goal become the outcome of the implementation of the duties and functions of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in implementation of Polines, with the following formula.
- Produce graduates who have expertise in the fields of technology and business recognized by the industrial world through a teaching industry-based education pattern;
- Develop applied knowledge in technology and business that advances application of technology in industry and society;
- Realizing a healthy and dynamic academic, organizational, and work culture as a basis cooperation with stakeholders to develop technology application and promote community independence;
- Produce competent and professional lecturers and teaching staff; and
- Create useful and internationally recognized expertise in technology and business national and international.
STRATEGIC TARGET
Polines as providers of vocational higher education set strategic targets as an elaboration of strategic objectives, especially in the fields of technology, economics and business, namely:
- Increasing the quality and competitiveness of competency-based graduates, developing teaching industry learning programs, new study programs and competitiveness at the university level national and or international, as well as valid output data;
- Increased publication of scientific works and creative-innovative works of the academic community;
3. Increasing the quality of modern higher education management in managing education with quality institutional management; - Increasing the resources of lecturers and teaching staff who are competent and professional; and
- Increased expertise and role of lecturers towards stakeholders
