Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) students continue to develop innovations related to electric vehicles. One of them is by presenting Vysatic, a vespa-based electric vehicle modified by students. Not only has it succeeded in converting ordinary vehicles into electric vehicles, Vysatic is also equipped with applications to support the comfort and safety of these electric vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Met at the inauguration of the Polines integrated lecture building on Friday (4-08-2023), Ayu Novita Anggraeni, one of the students involved in the development of Vysatic, said that Vysatic is an extension of Electric Vespa. According to Ayu, this electric vehicle innovation has even been shown at last year's G-20 event in Bali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
"At that time we appeared at the Energy Transition Day event in Nusa Dua Bali," said Ayu accompanied by a number of colleagues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
At that time, Vysatic became one of the four innovative products of Polines students that were also shown to enliven the inauguration of the Polines Integrated Lecture Building. The Director General of Vocational Education, Kiki Yuliati, even looks very interested in this Vespa motorbike innovation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Still according to Ayu, Vysatic is a vespa motorbike that was previously made from oil and then converted to electric fuel. This motorbike has not only turned into an electric motorbike that is more environmentally friendly, but is also a smart motorbike because it is equipped with applications specifically designed to support the comfort and safety of its use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ayu added, "Our motorbike base is a 1970s Vespa which we modified so that in terms of appearance it looks classic, but has modern technology."<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The electric motor converted by Polines uses a 72 Volt 20 Ah lithium battery (owned by Gesit). This motorbike can cover a distance of 40-45 km with a maximum speed of 70 km per hour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
"For the battery charging time is about three hours," said Ayu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
