Studying at PTN is now easier. Not only through 2 national selection paths, universities and state institutes, the Polytechnic also opened the PMDK-PN and UMPN pathways.<\/p>\n

"Often students only rely on SNMPTN and SBMPTN, even though they can also register through the PMDK-PN and UMPN channels to enter the State Polytechnic," said Dr.sc. H. Zainal Nur Arifin, Dipl-Ing. HTL, MT., Chair of the Forum for Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of State Polytechnics throughout Indonesia.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

PMDK-PN is a selection route to enter vocational state universities using academic selection and non-academic achievements. This pathway is opened for SMA\/SMK\/MA graduates who are still in grade 12 or grade 3 in all majors.<\/p>\n

Registration for this pathway is done online, simple, and free of charge. Registration is not limited to a certain quota and school accreditation does not determine the registrant quota.<\/p>\n

According to Zainal, from year to year enthusiasts and applicants for this route are increasing. "This shows that people are increasingly understanding the privilege of studying at the Polytechnic. Skill development is very prominent through the composition of practicum and theory in the teaching and learning process,\u201d he added. \u00a0<\/p>\n

There are at least 42 State Polytechnics from the west to the east of the Indonesian territory who are members of this selection path. This means that this pathway is offered for hundreds of linear study programs, ranging from science, social, tourism, and language.<\/p>\n

Registration opens simultaneously on February 4, by simply accessing\u00a0https:\/\/pmdk.politeknik.or.id\/<\/a><\/span><\/strong> . For those who are not clear, a help menu, FAQ and special number 0804 1567 567 have been prepared which can be accessed on working days and hours.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For those who want to register, please contact the school first to be recommended by the school. Next, the registrant will receive a username and password that will be used to complete the fields and upload supporting documents.<\/p>\n

\u201cRegistration for this route will be open until April 6. After this route, we will also open the National State Polytechnic Entrance Exam, which is abbreviated as UMPN. So, please take advantage of this opportunity to study at one of the state vocational universities in Indonesia, the Polytechnic,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

According to him, Polytechnics in Indonesia are developing quite rapidly and are increasingly focused on creating a generation that is ready to compete in the global era. Through several polytechnic strengthening programs to student development efforts through certification programs, showing positive support from the government to develop polytechnics.<\/p>\n
